Student athletes between 18-30 years of age are needed to better understand the long-term symptoms that may be associated with concussion, including changes in hearing and listening skills. We are seeking volunteers who participate or have
participated in collegiate athletics or intramural sports who have either NO history of concussion/head or who have had 1-2 documented concussions in the past 5 years.
Participants must be native English speakers with no history of diagnosed learning disabilities, neurological problems, or mental disorders. The study takes place at Syracuse University in the research lab of Dr. Kathy Vander Werff at 621 Skytop Road, Room 175, or, if necessary can be completed on the main campus to accommodate your schedule.
The study involves a hearing screening test and filling out questionnaires. It takes 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete.
