David M. Crane L’80, professor of practice in the College of Law, authored a column for Jurist on Charles Taylor being found guilty of war crimes, and how his conviction should serve as a warning to others who commit war crimes and crimes against humanity. As former Prosecutor for the Special Court for Sierra Leone, Crane indicted Taylor, who is the former Liberian president.
