CBS News featured online the 2012 Syracuse University Commencement address delivered by College of Visual and Performing Arts alumnus Aaron Sorkin ’83. The Post-Standard highlighted the address in an article reporting that Sorkin will write the screenplay for a movie on the life of Apple founder Steve Jobs.
A research brief recently issued by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families was mentioned by Stars & Stripes, Digital Journal and Veterans Today: Military & Foreign Affairs Journal. The research, which cites that treating families of veterans with PTSD for psychological stress also increases treatment success rates for veterans, was originally published in Aggression and Violent Behavior (2004). It was conducted by researchers at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and the Department of Veterans Affairs Trauma Recovery Program.
