The Kansas City Star highlighted the “Healthy Monday” campaigns, developed by Syracuse University alumnus Sid Lerner.

Bloomberg Businessweek, the Central New York Business Journal, and Marketwatch reported on the launch of Operation Boots to Business: From Service to Startup, a program to help transitioning service members and veterans become entrepreneurs. The pilot program was launched by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), U.S. Small Business Administration and U.S Marine Corps on four USMC bases and goes nationwide in 2013.

Veterans Today: Military & Foreign Affairs Journal mentioned the IVMF’s partnership with the Bob Woodruff Foundation to assist post-9/11 service-disabled veterans in attending the 2012 National Veteran Small Business Conference and Expo June 26-29 in Detroit.

OnlineMBA reported on the IVMF partnering with Google and Startup Weekend to offer veterans with startup companies or innovative business ideas entrepreneurial guidance during the inaugural Google for Entrepreneurs Day for Veterans, Service Members and Military Families in San Diego on Aug. 9.
