Downtown Tour invites students to explore living, working in Syracuse

Syracuse University’s Office of Career Services within the Division of Student Affairs is hosting its first Downtown Tour on Friday, April 13, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The Downtown Tour will take undergraduate students to downtown Syracuse to network with employers, meet alumni, experience life and culture in Syracuse, and explore businesses and careers. Students will also utilize the Connective Corridor bus to get downtown and should meet at the bus stop on College Place by 10 a.m.

Students participating in the Downtown Tour will meet and tour O’Brien & Gere, KS&R and Eric Mower and Associates. Staff from the Downtown Committee will share information about housing, events and culture in Syracuse. Lunch will be provided at the downtown establishment Lemon Grass.

The event is free for students to attend; however, a $20 refundable deposit is required in advance to reserve a place on the tour. Space is limited, so students must register for the event in Career Services, Suite 235 in the Schine Student Center.
