Alexa Rose Johnson and Alexandra Lanoue, both juniors in the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music, will present a violin recital on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 8 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, Crouse College. The recital is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the Irving Garage; patrons should mention that they are attending the recital.
Johnson is a junior in the Setnor School’s B.A. degree program in music with performance honors. She will be performing Bach’s Sonata in A Minor from his unaccompanied works for violin solo, I. Grave and IV. Allegro; and the Mozart Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major, II. Adagio and III. Rondeau (Allegro).
Lanoue is a junior in the Setnor School’s B.M. degree program in violin performance. She will be performing the Viotti Violin Concerto No. 22 in A Minor.
Both Johnson and Lanoue are students of Professor Peter Rovit.
