Research by a team from SU’s College of Arts and Sciences and Yale University providing a clearer picture of the Earth’s temperature approximately 50 million years ago is featured in Red Orbit and is cited in a Palm Beach Daily News story on climate and weather forecasting in South Florida.

Today’s Dick Case column in the Post-Standard notes SU Archives as the source for a photo accompanying Case’s earlier story on SU alumnus Peter Falk and his role in a White Bucks and Tales SU student talent show from the 1950s. Edward Galvin, director of Archives and Records Management, provided details. The piece also mentions the SU Press book, “Our Movie Houses: A History of Film & Cinematic Innovation in Central New York,” written by Norman O. Keim, founder of the SU Film Studies Center, and David Marc, associate editor of SU Magazine.
