PhysOrg.com notes participation by Christopher Scholz, professor of earth sciences in The College of Arts and Sciences, in a multidisciplinary two-year survey of ecosystem biodiversity of the Lake Kivu system in Africa to collect scientific measurements for benchmarking hazards to the area’s sustainability.
