Syracuse University Libraries is pleased to announce that Brett Goldstein ’01 (College of Arts and Sciences/Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs) of Potomac, Maryland, recently joined the Libraries Advisory Board. Goldstein is first vice president with UBS Private Wealth Management, based in their Washington, D.C., office. In his role he consults successful families and individuals on their fiscal priorities and philanthropy.

An active alum, Brett is co-chair of the Syracuse University Regional Councils Cabinet, chair of the D.C. Regional Council and a board member of Bnai Tzedek Congregation. His wife, Rina Goldstein ’03 (School of Education), works as an educator in Maryland. They have two sons.

““I’m delighted to join such a dynamic group and honored to serve on the Libraries Advisory Board,” says Goldstein. “I look forward to contributing insights, guidance and support and am excited to roll up my sleeves and get to work this fall.”

“Brett makes an excellent addition to the Libraries Advisory Board, bringing new expertise and perspectives to our group,” says David Seaman, dean of the Syracuse University Libraries and university librarian. “Furthermore, Brett’s involvement in the D.C. Regional Council and the University’s new center in the area, home to the Institute for Democracy, Journalism and Citizenship and study away programs, may facilitate the Libraries’ involvement in research, teaching and learning happening there.”
