Nina-Marie Lister, associate professor, urban and regional planning, Ryerson University, Toronto, and visiting associate professor, Graduate School of Design, Harvard University, will launch this year’s Women in Scientific and Environmental Professions Speaker Series with “(Re)Claiming Ground: Landscape, Ecology, and Urbanism.” The lecture will be held Feb.8, 4-5 p.m., in 5 Illick Hall on the SUNY-ESF campus. This event is sponsored by the Randolph G. Pack Environmental Institute, Department of Landscape Architecture and the ESF Women’s Caucus.The lecture is free and open to the public; fee parking is available in the Irving Ave Garage.
The series will continue March 29 with “Changing Climate, Changing Forests: The Impacts of Climate Change on Forests of the Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada.” For more information, please visit our website.
