Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Celebrating Recent High School Grads
We asked faculty and staff to share photos of their favorite recent high school graduates. Congratulations to all, and good luck as you continue your journeys!
Dear Members of the Syracuse University Community:
We are writing today to remind and encourage you to review the draft of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Strategic Plan and complete the accompanying survey by Monday, Nov. 15. In a message to campus on Oct. 18, we noted the success of this plan requires robust participation by our campus community.
As the interim DEIA plan leadership team, we have intentionally issued the draft version of the plan to seek the wise and critical perspectives from across campus that will contribute to the final document. It is our hope that you will not only engage with the plan yourself but will engage in discussion with your fellow students, colleagues, staff and peers in all ways that are available to you.
Your experiences and perspectives as an undergraduate, graduate student or staff or faculty member are essential to the decisions that will be made as we build our future together. Please consider the following questions as you review the draft and complete the survey:
Answers to questions such as these from all University constituencies will help us identify the transformative opportunities we are all seeking. We appreciate your time and effort in this extremely important shared work.
Sincerely,
Diane Lyden Murphy
