Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:

Have you signed up to get an on-campus vaccination yet? If not, but you plan to be vaccinated, we urge you to take action today. The Barnes Center at The Arch now has appointments available for Wednesday, April 14. Don’t delay, make an appointment.

Wednesday, April 14, Appointments Available!

Here’s how you can sign up:

  • Students: Please make your appointment now through the Student Patient Portal.
  • Faculty/Staff: For faculty and staff interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine on campus, we ask that you complete the online form at your earliest convenience.
  • Important Reminder: The Barnes Center staff will contact you via text or email to confirm your vaccination appointment. Please keep your cell phones and devices on hand so the Barnes Center staff can easily reach you.

Submit Proof of Vaccination

So far, about 4,000 students have submitted proof of vaccination or been vaccinated on our campus. We ask that if you have received a COVID-19 vaccination at an off-campus vaccination clinic but haven’t submitted proof yet to do so immediately:

  • Students: Students who have already received or will receive the COVID-19 vaccine at an off-campus site, we ask that you please submit your documentation through the Student Patient Portal.
  • Faculty/Staff: The Office of Human Resources is asking faculty and staff to complete a brief COVID-19 Vaccine Status Attestation Questionnaire to confirm their vaccination status. Faculty and staff can also use the form to claim exemption from this requirement for medical or sincerely held religious reasons.
  • Important Reminder: If you have received your vaccination through the Barnes Center, no further action is required.

Thank you to everyone in our community who has already been vaccinated or plans to get vaccinated in the coming days. Not only is a COVID-19 vaccination required on our campus as of June 1, but it is also the most effective public health action we can all take to protect ourselves and those around us.

Stay safe. Stay healthy. Do your part. Get vaccinated!

Sincerely,

Syracuse University Public Health Team
