“A plea for a Saturday Super Bowl.”

Robert Thompson, Trustee Professor of radio, television and film and director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the Newhouse School, was cited in the CNBC story “A plea for a Saturday Super Bowl.” Thompson, an expert in popular culture and network television, says that in the past Sunday nights have been the best for television views, but the pandemic may have changed that since typical Saturday night activities in-person are no longer occurring.
