“Impact COVID-19 has had on Destiny USA”

Shelley Kohan, adjunct faculty member in the Whitman School, was interviewed by CNY Central for the story “Impact COVID-19 has had on Destiny USA.” Kohan, a retail expert, says that while the pandemic has accelerated many problems that malls faced before, ultimately she believes Destiny USA will be able to survive long-term. “I think physical retail will always be in the shopping journey. I think it’s an important aspect. It’s socialization, it’s interaction,” says Kohan.
