Kent Syverud, Chancellor and President, was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal for the story “Lockerbie Bombing: U.S. Said to Be Near Charges for Another Suspect in 1988 Place Crash.” The piece explains how U.S. prosecutors may unseal new charges against an alleged bomb-maker for the device that blew up Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. 35 students from Syracuse University tragically died in the bombing and are remembered each year through the Remembrance Scholar program.
