Aileen Gallagher, associate professor of magazine, news and digital journalism in the Newhouse School, was quoted by Women’s Wear Daily for the article “Will Fashion Editors Flock to Substack in 2021?” Gallagher, who has had an extensive writing and editing career for a variety of magazines and digital publications, comments on how many journalists joined the newsletter tech platform Substack in 2020, yet there were few fashion journalists who did so.
