Professor Mary Lovely writes “Bring back manufacturing? Then invest in America.”

Mary Lovely, professor of economics in the Maxwell School, wrote an opinion piece for the San Antonio Express-News entitled “Bring back manufacturing? Then invest in America.” “To restore U.S manufacturing jobs, we need to ask why production costs are higher here than abroad. We need to rebalance the costs and benefits to favor the U.S.,” says Lovely, who is an expert on public  and international economics.
