“Furniture industry struggles to keep up with incredibly high demand.”

Patrick Penfield, professor of supply chain practice and director of Executive Education in the Whitman School, was quoted in the CNY Central piece “Furniture industry struggles to keep up with incredibly high demand.” Penfield says that the furniture cannot keep up with demand, especially in terms of keeping up with customization. “If you can limit your customization, that may allow you to get what’s going to be in stock,” says Penfield.
