Research produced by Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) was cited by Forbes for the piece, “Veterans’ And Consumer Groups “Heartbroken” After Trump Vetoes Student Loan Relief Bill.” The research from IVMF shows that veterans are often targeted by predatory, for-profit institutions, stating that “around 20 percent of GI Bill recipients go to a for-profit institution, but about half of all complaints filed by veterans are about for-profit schools.”
