Syracuse University is a sponsor of the Central New York Inclusion Conference 2010, an innovative conference model aimed at transforming how executives, organizational leaders, businesses and institutions in the Central New York region rethink and leverage the benefits of diversity and inclusion as a competitive advantage. CNYIC 2010 will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the William Noah Allyn International Conference Center (The Lodge) in Skaneateles, N.Y.
Chancellor Nancy Cantor will be a guest speaker at the conference and will provide the opening remarks on Tuesday morning, and introduce keynote speaker Freada Kapor Klein, founder of the Level Playing Field Institute. The Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University has also been invited to host an afternoon workshop, “Return-On-Investment: Focused Case Studies of Disability Inclusion and Accommodation,” co-facilitated by BBI’s Meera Adya, director of research, and Deborah Greene, senior program development associate.
This is the first ever Central New York Inclusion Conference held with the goal to comprehensively examine and share the body of inclusive practices and behaviors that impact the bottom line of businesses, educational institutions, government organizations and communities.
