Boost the ’Cuse is Underway

Boost the ’Cuse: 44 Hours for Syracuse University is underway—and we need YOU to make these 44 hours of giving as legendary as the number itself.

The #BoostCuse clock started at 4 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, as members of the Orange community around the world came together in a race against the clock. The goal? To inspire 5,000 donors to support Syracuse before 11:59 p.m. Nov. 6.

On-Campus Activities

Join the #BoostCuse fun at one of our on-campus locations! Check out the on-campus schedule, and don’t miss Wednesday night’s tailgate at Dineen Hall (7-9 p.m.) leading up to the season-opening men’s basketball game against the University of Virginia.

Throughout the 44 hours, students will search for stuffed Ottos hidden around campus. Students who find one can designate challenge money donated by the Generation Orange Leadership Council to the part of Syracuse University that means the most to them.

“I wouldn’t be here at Syracuse without the scholarship that came about because of the generosity of others who support Syracuse University,” says Anthony Dabbundo ’21, a member of the Forever Orange Student Alumni Council and dual-major studying broadcast and digital journalism and policy studies.

“I’m excited to support our Boost the ’Cuse efforts to ensure future students can take advantage of and benefit from all of the tremendous resources available on campus. It’s important for current students to give back.”

How to Participate

There is no minimum gift amount. What matters most is that members of the Syracuse community give back to the part of Syracuse they’re most passionate about. Collectively, each gift adds up to make a big impact for current and future students.

There are three ways to give during the 44 hours of Boost the ’Cuse:

Online: Make your gift at on the Boost the ‘Cuse website.

By phone: Call 315.443.1848 or watch for a call or text from Syracuse University.

In person: Visit us at Bird Library on Wednesday, stop by our tailgate at Dineen Hall before Wednesday’s men’s basketball game or check out our Boost the ’Cuse table in the Dome backcourt before the game or at halftime.

Follow along with our live coverage from campus, discover our time-sensitive challenges and track our progress by following along on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Across the country, many of our alumni are hosting gatherings to celebrate alumni philanthropy.

Together, we’re proud to Boost the ’Cuse and celebrate what it means to be Orange!
