The City of Syracuse’s contractor, Barrett Paving, will begin paving Comstock and Waverly avenues today. The work is scheduled to take place through Wednesday in this area.
After completing the paving along Waverly Avenue, the contractor will pave South Crouse Avenue from Marshall Street to East Genesee Street later in the week. The campus community should anticipate some traffic delays when driving in these areas this week.
The city will complete the project prior to the students returning in August. The final step will be to restripe Waverly, Comstock and South Crouse avenues with bike lanes on both sides of the road.
