Summer Snapshots 2025
From the looks of it, our University community members sure enjoyed themselves over the summer months. From a big adventure around the world to a laid-back staycation, take a look at the fun they had.
Syracuse Cares will hold a fundraiser to benefit victims of the recent floods in Pakistan. It will take place Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 6-8 p.m. in Grant Auditorium at the Syracuse University College of Law. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
All proceeds will be donated to a charitable organization such as Oxfam, the Imran Khan Foundation or the Edhi Foundation.
Finger foods will be served, to be followed by remarks from Catherine Bertini, professor of practice in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs; Thomas Wolfe, SU senior vice president and dean of student affairs; and Tucker Culbertson, assistant professor in the College of Law. The program will also include a slide show and musical performances.
Syracuse Cares is a diverse group of individuals and groups from across campus that have come together for this benefit event. Groups involved include the South Asia Center in the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs in the Maxwell School, the Maxwell Public Administration Council, Maxwell International Students Association, College of Law Student Bar Association, Impunity Watch, South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA) and the South Asian Student Association (SASA).
