Students: What did you like about your classes this semester? How do you think your instructors could help you learn the material better? Are there any new topics or methods that you think would work well in a class you just completed? Instructors are listening to what students have to say about their courses, but they can respond only if they know what students think.
As the fall semester draws to a close, the online system for student ratings is open through Dec. 14 for students to evaluate their courses and provide suggestions to their instructors.
Students who have a class that is using the online system will receive an e-mail to their syr.edu address that contains their passcode for the system and the link to the student rating website. Those who have not received an email may go to //aaf-ratings.syr.edu/ to retrieve a passcode for the system.
Most departments use the online system for collecting student ratings. If a student doesn’t see a course on his or her online student ratings page, the course may be using paper evaluations. Paper evaluations will be administered in class, typically at the last class meeting. Students who have a question about how student ratings will be collected for a course should check with their instructor.
