Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Celebrating Recent High School Grads
We asked faculty and staff to share photos of their favorite recent high school graduates. Congratulations to all, and good luck as you continue your journeys!
The Office of the Provost is extending the deadline for faculty to submit applications for the Unsurpassed Student Experience Diversity and Inclusion internal grants (USE D&I Grants) to Friday, April 6, at 5 p.m.
These USE D&I Grants aim to help Syracuse University continue to enhance and sustain an inclusive, accessible campus of opportunity for a richly diverse student body.
USE D&I Grant funding will support planning, implementing and evaluating high-impact practices (as determined through research and/or assessment) to enhance diversity and inclusion on campus. These funded practices also should have the potential of being scaled up to involve more students and should include real measurements to determine the impact of the practices on the students, faculty and staff involved.
Proposed grant projects will be planned and developed in spring and summer 2018 and piloted in the 2018-19 academic year. Evaluation of the USE D&I high-impact practice, including assessment of student learning, must be completed by May 15, 2019. Typical USE D&I Grant project budgets will not exceed $5,000. The aim is to fund $20,000 worth of USE D&I proposals.
