Mike Haynie, Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives and Innovation and executive director of IVMF, talks with WAER about the need for additional federal resources to support military families. In his testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee on Feb. 14, Haynie said failing to provide enough economic and educational assistance for military families is a threat to national security.
