Statement from Dean Joanna Masingila on mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL:

“The education of our youth is a key to our growth and development as a society. The safety of learners and educators has to be a top priority for all us. Feeling safe in schools is fundamental for students being able to learn and teachers being able to teach. We must solve the issue of gun violence in schools if we want to recruit and retain passionate and dedicated educators.”
