Members of the Syracuse Army ROTC program recently held a Fitness Challenge for local high schoolers who are also Junior ROTC cadets. The event, held inside of the Carrier Dome, focused on promoting physical fitness, while also showing the JROTC members an array of future possibilities for them upon high school graduation.
“The JROTC mission is to develop good citizens,” said LT. Col. Jason Warner, the Army ROTC program leader. “And so we’re looking to expand and support that mission by providing them, the JROTC cadets, and opportunity to come and see things beyond high school.
