Excerpts from a recently published essay by iSchool Professor Carl Schramm were cited in the Inc article “Looking For Entrepreneurship In All The Wrong Places.” Schramm, who also recently published a new book Burn the Business Plan, says that entrepreneurship can be found in the older generations.
“It takes some time for people to recognize that their destiny is to start a company,” he wrote. “Their inspiration usually comes not from a college program teaching them generic entrepreneurship skills, but from what they’ve learned in previous jobs.”
