University College celebrates Nontraditional Student Week this week, Nov. 6-10. Nontraditional students juggle families, jobs and other responsibilities while studying part-time, all in an effort to build a better life for themselves and their families through education.
In recognition of nontraditional students, University College invites the SU campus community to visit the main lobby at UC anytime this week between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (5 p.m. on Friday). UC will provide free “smart” snacks and coffee for everyone to enjoy. This is UC’s way of demonstrating its admiration for their students’ dedication and hard work.
When you see a nontraditional student this week, don’t forget to congratulate them on their achievements.
