Fans inside the Dome

The Syracuse University Alumni Association (SUAA) will once again host a series of men’s and women’s basketball pre-game tailgates during the 2017-18 season.

Alumni, friends of SU and guests are invited to enjoy delicious tailgate food and drinks with fellow ’Cuse fans before cheering on the Orange. Receive special Orange giveaways, too!

The SUAA is planning tailgates prior to four home men’s basketball games: vs. Maryland (Nov. 27), vs. Notre Dame (Jan. 6), vs. Virginia (Feb. 3) and vs. North Carolina (Feb. 21).

All of the home men’s basketball tailgates will begin 90 minutes prior to tip-off inside the Heroy Geology Building lobby (across from the Carrier Dome).

The SUAA is also hosting a road tailgate prior to the Dec. 2 game vs. Kansas in Miami, a rematch of the 2003 National Championship won by ’Cuse 81-78. That gathering will occur at Fado Irish Pub in Miami.

SU’s regional alumni office, Greenberg House in D.C., is hosting a pre-game tailgate and post-game gathering at Clyde’s (Gallery Place) Dec. 16 when the Orange play Georgetown in Washington, D.C. Visit the Greenberg House in D.C. Facebook event page for more information.

For the women, tailgates are planned before the following home games: vs. Drexel (Dec. 9), vs. Pittsburgh (Jan. 21) and vs. Duke (Feb. 15).

Women’s basketball tailgates will begin 90 minutes prior to tip-off at Club 44 inside the Carrier Dome.

Visit the men’s basketball and women’s basketball tailgate registration pages to sign up for our pre-game gatherings, and don’t forget to sport your best Orange!
