Pike Offers Advice to the Next Secretary of State

With the future of the Secretary of State position hanging in the balance, Newhouse Assistant Professor of Public Relations Steven Pike wrote an opinion article for The Huffington Post, relaying advice in “A Memo to the Next Secretary of State.”

“Make the Department relevant to policy again,” is Pike’s first piece of advice. While also offering, “get rid of advisors more steeped in political dogma than foreign policy.”
