Counterterrorism Expert Comments on Las Vegas

Following the mass shooting in Las Vegas last week, Channel 9 interviewed Corri Zoli, the Director of Research and Assistant Professor of Research at the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism. She spoke about the tragedy, and the intricacies of the unusual case.

“It could be a mass shooter who has some personal grievances,” she said. He’s very unusual in the sense of he’s not ISIS’s typical demographic for instance… He’s got a lot of features that are quite different than the usual scenario we’re used to seeing with these terrible mass atrocities, basically.”
