Students on a previous apple-picking excursion
The Department of Recreation Services is offering an outdoor adventure trip to Abbott Farms for apple picking.
Apple picking will take place on Sunday, Oct. 8. Buses will depart from SU’s College Place (in front of Sims Hall) at 12:30 p.m. and depart Abbott Farms at 4:30 p.m. SU/ESF undergraduate student tickets are $7; all other SU/ESF ID card holders will pay $15. This price includes a small bag of “U-Pick” apples, wristband for all activities including the corn maze, wagon rides, apple cannon, face painting, tube slides and transportation to and from SU’s College Place.
Pre-registration for the trip is required. Participants can log on to the Recreation Services website, under “outdoor adventure trips” and choose “Apple Picking” to register for the trip. Registration will close on Friday, Oct. 6, at noon. For additional information on either trip, please email Scott Catucci.
