Hiring Talent is one Thing, Keeping it Another

As many in the field know, finding, and then retaining, top talent in the medical industry is hard to do. Studies show many employees have been found to be constantly searching for new work, especially millennials. Additionally, companies like Google and Facebook have been taking that talent as well. Professor and Associate Provost for Academic Affairs in the School of Information Studies Jeffrey Stanton commented on this in MM&M.

“A company can foster support among co-workers simply by giving them opportunities to interact on non-work matters,” Stanton said. “Most people are looking for a way to be better at what they do, or to expand their horizons.”
