The Hendricks Chapel Choir is pleased to collaborate with the Black Celestial Choral Ensemble and the Concert Choir from the Setnor School of Music to present a very special Sung Evening Prayer on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel.
The event will be a musical collaboration commemorating Black History Month and will also feature appearances by Syracuse University chaplains Pastor Rhonda Chester from the United Methodist Chaplaincy and Pastors Stephanie and Pedro Castro of the Historically Black Church chaplaincy.
With more than 100 singers, the event will end with a collaborative performance of Richard Smallwood’s “Total Praise.” Sung Evening Prayer at Hendricks Chapel is always free and open to the public. Parking is available most Sunday evenings in Q1 and Irving Garage.
