The New York Times cited research from SU’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse
(TRAC) in an article on the transfer of noncitizens to immigration detainment camps.

Boyce Watkins, assistant professor of finance in the Whitman School of Management, commented in an ABC News online story about the future of Tiger Woods’ endorsement deals.

Rick Burton, David B. Falk Professor of Sport Management in the College of Human Ecology, commented in theToronto Star and in the New York Daily News on Tiger Woods’ relationships with key sponsors.

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, commented in the Florida Times Union on whether Tiger Woods’ image will be permanently tarnished in light of the scandal.

Henry Mullins, professor of earth sciences in The College of Arts and Sciences, is quoted in a MSNBC article on sudden global temperature swings.

The graduate ceramics program in the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ School of Art and Design is featured in the December issue of Ceramics Monthly magazine. The article showcases work by both faculty and graduate students.

William Smullen, director of national security studies in the Maxwell School, was featured in a Post-Standard article for his opinion on the recently announced plan to deploy 30,000 U.S. troops to Afghanistan.

The upcoming Charity Sports Auction, presented by the Sport Management Club in the College of Human Ecology, was previewed by the Syracuse New Times.
