Mary Karr, Jesse Truesdell Peck Professor of Literature in The College of Arts and Sciences, was interviewed by OregonLive.com about the memoir as a genre in writing.

Amy Schmitz, director of communications for the Whitman School of Management, was quoted in The Daily Record (Rochester, N.Y.) on expansion of the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV).

The Syracuse Symposium 2009 event, “A Conversation: Posing Beauty” was featured in a CNYLink article about the work of Deborah Willis and Carrie Mae Weems. Event co-sponsor Light Work was also mentioned.
