Elizabeth Fowler, assistant professor in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, is included among presenters at an upcoming Everson Museum of Art symposium, “Women as Visionaries-Women as Participants,” reported in Art Daily.

Rick Burton, the David B. Falk Distinguished Professor of Sport Management in the College of Human Ecology, wrote a column on ice hockey and the Olympic Games in SportBusiness International magazine.

Christine Mahoney, assistant professor of political science in the Maxwell School; Judy O’Rourke, director of undergraduate studies; Lockerbie Scholars Stefan Hanley and Alistair Inglis; and Whitman School of Management students Neil Casey and Alec Sim; were interviewed briefly in a BBC story on protest of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi’s arrival at United Nations headquarters in New York City. The planned Hendricks Chapel candlelight vigil was also mentioned in the Post-Standard.

Jeffrey Stonecash, professor of political science in the Maxwell School and College of Arts and Sciences, was quoted in a Post-Standard article on the third-party mayoral candidacy of Otis Jennings.

An exhibition of artwork by Gary Trento, associate professor emeritus in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, was reviewed in a Post-Standard Stars magazine article Sunday.
