The undergraduate business program in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University has been ranked as one of the top 40 best undergraduate business programs nationwide in U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges 2010.” The Whitman School was tied with four schools for 38th place.
The edition also ranks business specialty programs; the Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises in the Whitman School was ranked sixth nationwide.
“The Whitman School is honored that our undergraduate business program is ranked among the top 40 programs nationwide and our entrepreneurship program was ranked sixth in the nation,” says Melvin T. Stith, dean of the Whitman School. “These recognitions are wonderful external acknowledgments of the high-quality and competitive experiences the Whitman School offers undergraduate students.”
The U.S. News & World Report undergraduate business program rankings were based on a survey of business school deans and senior faculty at undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Deans and faculty were surveyed in spring 2009.
