Zlomek is senior vice president at HSBC Bank. As newly elected board president, Zlomek succeeds Davis, who served two years.

Santanam is deputy executive director of the Syracuse CoE and research associate professor of biomedical and chemical engineering at Syracuse University. As newly elected secretary of the Syracuse CoE Board, Santanam succeeds Barry Kogut, who served for six years. Kogut is a partner at Bond, Schoeneck & King.

Magari, Freer and Pisano were re-elected to officer positions that they held previously on the Syracuse CoE Board. Magari is principal and vice president at Colden Corp. Freer is principal at Firley, Moran, Freer & Eassa. Pisano is executive vice president and chief financial officer at RobsonWoese Inc.

The Syracuse CoE is a federation of more than 70 firms and institutions that collaborate to create innovations to improve built and urban environments. Partners in the Syracuse CoE collaborate in research, development and education projects relating to clean and renewable energy, indoor environmental quality, human health and performance, healthy buildings, and water resources.

The Syracuse CoE’s Office for Industry Collaboration (OIC) leads the initiative to promote economic development in the cluster of energy and environmental systems firms located in a 12-county region at the center of Upstate New York. The Syracuse CoE OIC is an independent, nonprofit corporation chartered by New York State in 2000. The Syracuse CoE Board serves as the board of directors of the Syracuse CoE OIC.
