This Saturday, Sept. 3, from noon-6 p.m., Syracuse University will host the second annual Juice Jam Festival, a music and entertainment event open to SU students and their guests. The festival will feature performances by several national acts: multicultural funk band Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Latin funk/world beat rock group Ozomatli and alternative/emo band Dashboard Confessional; it will also feature carnival activities, prizes and food. It will take place rain or shine in the Standart parking lot, behind Lawrinson and Sadler Halls.

The event is open to students and their guests only. A limited number of tickets are still available at the Schine Student Center Box Office, (315) 443-4517. Tickets will be required for admission; they are $7 for SU and SUNY ESF students with I.D. SU and ESF students may also purchase guest tickets for $15 each.

Representatives of more than 100 recognized student organizations will be present to greet SU students and provide information. Intended to reinvigorate the University’s tradition of outdoor musical events for students, Juice Jam is coordinated by University Union Concert Board and co-sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs.
