The Alumni Association of Syracuse University’s L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) will host its sixth annual Golf Outing on Sept. 11 at the Pompey Golf Club, located at 7200 Hamilton Rd. in Pompey.

Golfing, in captain-and-crew format, will begin at 2 p.m., followed by a social hour at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m. The event is open to all who register by the Sept. 3 deadline. For more information, contact Heather McMillon in the ECS Dean’s Office at 443-4777 or hdmcmill@syr.edu.

Established in 1992, the ECS Alumni Association advances the cause of engineering and computer science education at SU through recruiting, networking and collaboration. In 2004, $17,500 was donated by the association directly to ECS for student support programs.
