SU College of Law’s 5K run/walk to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation

SU College of Law’s 5K run/walk to benefit Make-A-Wish FoundationApril 20, 2004Nicci Brownnicbrown@syr.edu

On April 24, Syracuse University’s College of Law will host a 5K run/walk through and around the SU campus. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the law school; the race will start at 10 a.m.

Entry fees are $10 for SU students with I.D.; $15 for faculty, staff and the general public; and $5 for children 12 and under. Pre-registration is April 19-23 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in front of Lampe Cafe in the College of Law. Registration will also be accepted via e-mail at faelmost@syr.edu until April 23. All registrations must include name, phone number, e-mail, age group and t-shirt size.

Also on April 24, the College will host a shorter “Fun Run” through campus for children ages 12 and under; children can also run the full race.

The race will begin at the law school and continue on Euclid Street to Ostrom Street to University Avenue to Crouse Avenue, ending at the law school. The route will be run twice.

Medals will be awarded by gender and age group – 12 and under; 13 -20; 21-49; 50 and older. All who participate will receive a t-shirt.

All money raised will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
