Syracuse University’s Degas Quartet will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 in Hendricks Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.
The concert will feature quartets composed by Haydn, Mozart and Barbers. The Degas Quartet is SU’s first graduate quartet-in-residence. This is the second year the quartet has been at SU.
The quartet has reformed for the 2001-2002 academic year. Joining original members Tamaki Higashi and James Dickenson, both violinists, will be Wendy Richman on viola and Phillip von Maltzahn on cello.
