Einstein Bros. Bagels to Open in Life Sciences Complex
Campus Dining will open and operate an Einstein Bros. Bagels in the Life Sciences Complex. Regular hours begin the week of Aug. 17.
Einstein Bros. replaces the Life Sciences Café and Otto’s Juice Box. Extensive location renovations took place throughout summer 2026. The addition of the well-known, popular national brand in the heart of the University’s science and engineering corridor is one of several campus retail dining portfolio upgrades for the 2026-27 academic year. Additional national brand locations on campus to open in Fall 2026 include a full-service Starbucks in Bird Library’s Pages Cafe and the addition of Beyond Boba (milk teas, refreshers, and smoothies) in Goldstein and Schine Dining, alongside a renovated grab-and-go market in Schine Student Center.
Einstein Bros. Bagels’ full quick-service menu features daily, fresh-baked bagels, including classic, signature and gourmet varieties such as asiago cheese, cinnamon raisin and chocolate chip. The menu also features bagels with shmear, breakfast egg sandwiches, pastries, coffee and cold brew, along with limited-time-only seasonal specials. In-person ordering will be available during the café’s hours of operation, with mobile ordering to follow in mid-September, which customers can access through the University’s OrangeNow app.
The atrium location of Einstein Bros. Bagels in the Life Science Complex is next to the Center for Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing.
The national brand additions continue a multi-year effort by Campus Dining to introduce more national brands on campus, and additions such as Choolaah Indian Grill at Newhouse’s food.com and Goldstein Food Hall, Yella’s in food.com and Boar’s Head in Slocum Café.
