Learn! at Syracuse University Libraries Fall 2022 Workshops

Syracuse University Libraries is providing several online and in-person workshops throughout the Fall 2022 semester. Learn! workshops are free and open to students, faculty and researchers across campus. Pre-registration is required. Upcoming workshops include:

  • Sept. 9, 1-2 p.m., online: “Faculty and T.A. Teaching Support.” Register 
  • Sept. 13, 5-5:30 p.m. in Bird Library Room 114: “Money for your Research.” Register
  • Sept. 22, 2-4 p.m. in Bird Library Room 046: “Digital Humanities Workshop: Introduction to Text Mining with Hathi Trust Research Center.” Register 
  • Sept. 30, 10-11:30 a.m., online: “Introduction to ProQuest Text and Data Mining (TDM) Visualization Tools.” Register
  • Oct. 3, 5-7 p.m., online: “Meet Mendeley and Zotero.” Register
  • Oct. 5, 5-6:30 p.m. in Bird Library Room 114: “Library Collections Up Close: Oxford Bibliographies.” Register
  • Oct. 10, 1-2:30 p.m., online: “Using the ProQuest Text and Data Mining Workbench for Research Projects.” Register
  • Oct. 18, 12-1 p.m., online: “Saving and Citing Your Sources: An Introduction to Zotero.” Register
  • Nov. 1, 2:30-3:30 p.m., online: “Markdown and Stylo, Make Publication Formatting Easy.” Register
  • Nov. 1, 5-6:15 p.m., online: “Misappropriation or Misrepresentation of Your Research; Strategies for Facing a Growing and Problematic Trend.” Register
  • Nov. 7,  5-6:15 p.m., online: “Misappropriation or Misrepresentation of Your Research; Strategies for Facing a Growing and Problematic Trend.” Register
