The Fall Advantage
The fall semester is an ideal time to take advantage of study abroad opportunities. Due to more flexibility with fall programs, students are more likely to be accepted into their preferred program and housing arrangements, and traveling with friends is more feasible.
There are also numerous grants and scholarships specifically available for fall programs, including Fall-Only Supplemental Aid up to 10%. Students enrolling in the Santiago Center program will also receive a $1,500 Latin America Travel Grant applied directly toward program costs.
Fall is also an ideal time for students to experience once-in-a-lifetime events, including holiday markets in Strasbourg, local festivals, political events and more. Learn more about the fall advantage.
Students should be advised that certain terms and programs are popular and have limited capacity. When planning a study abroad journey, it’s important to plan early, understand all options and stay flexible about a desired semester and location abroad. Placement in specific programs is not guaranteed and the spring semester often fills quickly.
