College of Law to Hold VALOR Day for CNY Veterans, Service Members and Families

The College of Law will hold its Veterans’ Advocacy, Law and Outreach (VALOR) Day event on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Center of Progress Building at the New York State Fairgrounds.

Local attorneys will dispense free legal advice to veterans during the College of Law’s Veterans’ Advocacy, Law and Outreach (VALOR) Day event on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Hosted by the Betty and Michael D. Wohl Veterans Legal Clinic, Volunteer Lawyers Project of CNY, Inc., and Hancock Estabrook LLP, Valor Day will take place during the CNY Veterans Expo and will provide a variety of free legal services to local veterans.

Local attorneys will be available to discuss the following services: Simple wills, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, family law, veterans law, tenant’s rights, debt, real estate and immigration.
