- Nina Kohn, David M. Levy Professor of Law and Faculty Director of Online Education in the College of Law, was quoted in the USA Today story “’The Blind Side’ subject Michael Oher’s blockbuster lawsuit against Tuohy family explained.” CNN also included Prof. Kohn in coverage of the story.
- Michael Marciano, research associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences and director of research at the Forensic & National Security Sciences Institute at Syracuse University, was quoted in the BBC story “Hawaii wildfires: Why identifying the victims could take years.”

- Roy Gutterman, professor of newspaper and online journalism in the Newhouse School and director of the Tully Center for Free Speech, was interviewed for the Verify This story “Trump and the First Amendment| Expert Interview with Roy Gutterman, Director, Tully Center for Free Speech, Syracuse University,” and the Masslive story “Will there be a televised Trump trial?”
- Elizabeth Carter, assistant professor in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, was interviewed for the WRVO-FM story “Experts say climate change will result in more heavy rains like CNY saw this week.”
- Horace Campbell, professor of African American studies and political science in the Maxwell School, was a featured guest on the Democracy Now segment “Horace Campbell on Opposing Military Intervention in Niger & Disastrous US/French Role in Africa.”
- Robert Thompson, Trustee Professor of television, radio and film and director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the Newhouse School, was quoted in the Yahoo Entertainment article “Is everyone watching ‘Suits’? Yes. Here’s how the USA drama became Netflix’s latest hit.” Prof. Thompson was also interviewed by Marketwatch, KCBS (San Francisco), Vice, KNX (Los Angeles), CNBC (twice), Voice of America, and EFE (Spain).
